As Senior UX Designer at Exertis, I led the design of a one-page redemption & checkout flow for a Bowers & Wilkins campaign offering £200 (or something, this was 6 years ago) off their flagship PX headphones. This was going to be the company’s first redemption portal that required payment. The tech stack was WooCommerce, which meant I had to find workarounds for WooCommerce’s checkout logic, to avoid breaking its brittle internals.

I collapsed the usual multi-step redemption flow into a clean, vertically flowing page. One seamless experience from code entry to delivery confirmation. I split the form into digestible sections, using layout and iconography to subtly guide the user downward, ending with a “truck” step to signify the purchase being on it’s way.

Despite the internal hesitation (this was uncharted territory for the team), the campaign brought in nearly half a million pounds in a week.
